"Highly recommend their fried fish, broccoli salad, twisted potato and fried okra. I also like their desserts. Besides the food, the environment is very clean. You can tell Rony, the owner, spends lots of time on this restaurant. I will definitely visit this restaurant again."

"I came here after seeing a post on Facebook, I am very happy that I decided to! It isn't far from historic down town at all, just a short drive! A nice change from all of the fast food and Mexican restaurants for sure. The staff were friendly and welcoming! Inside is bright and spacious. There is a very large salad bar and a showcase of baked goods. During warmer weather there are some picnic tables for outside seating. This place is definitely worth trying at least once if you're on the fence!"

"OH MY GOODNESS!! This is THE BEST food in Franklin KY, by far!! Their 60 item salad bar is phenomenal and their catfish.... The best catfish I have ever had aside from my granddad's fried catfish fresh off the Wabash River in Illinois!! Sweet potato casserole, YUMMY! Fried okra, chef's kiss!! I even had a piece of strawberry lover's cake from their "little bite little" bakery and it was heaven!! If you have the opportunity, run don't walk to The Home Place!! Promise you won't regret it!!"

"Had the fish plate, very good. Fresh and tasty. Good beans. Wife had the salad bar, also very pleased. Looking forward to returning. My only complaint, and the reason for 4-star on the food, I like a good starter sauce for my fish and in my opinion this starter sauce was probably the least likable I've ever had. Other than that, fine dining."

"My wife and I decided to try here today (12/19/25). The food was amazing, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere and decor family friendly, beautiful and the staff were so kind and happy to see everyone that came in, greeting everyone individually even as they began to get busy. I definitely recommend coming here!"

"This place has such good food and a friendly atmosphere. You really get a big serving for the money and their salad bar has absolutely anything you could ever want. Really try the salad bar you can make your salad as big or as small as you want and you only pay for what you get by weight!!"
